On the 22nd of November 2007 I slept on my own for the first time. I loved it!

82 days after coming to this world, I decided to become autonomous and make use of the lovely room prepared by my parents a few months before my birth.
I know, I know: it was perhaps too early, but I couldn’t helped it as I was fed up of hearing my daddy snoring all night long. A more politically correct justification would refer to the need of a baby boy -as myself- for developing, within a more adequate setting, his emotional self-esteem and sense of independence. Yet, this would only conceal the harsh reality.
Sometimes I miss my parents though. Nevertheless, amazingly, only a subtle yelling is enough for them to come to my room right away. It is awesome as I enjoy all the benefits of staying at my own place without missing any of the advantages of the parental room service.
This new stage in my short life adventure has allowed me to work out my speaking skills and, after trying so hard, I have been able to come up with only one meaningful word: IOWA.
It was a pretty tough task and mummy and daddy helped out a lot. All their tireless efforts turned into surprise, however, as they tried to understand how could I end up with such a word. They know I am neither interested in American geography nor in its politics (although I’ll keep an eye on the primaries in Jan). I hope they’ll realize that it was down to pure luck. No doubt: am a gifted baby...but not that much.
